CN/IC Hiring Locomotive Engineers

CLEVELAND, April 23 -- The Canadian National/Illinois Central Railway (CN/IC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of locomotive engineer to operate trains from Champaign, Ill., and between various locations in the United States.

Preference will be given to fully-qualified candidates. CN/IC requires locomotive engineer certification or railroad brakeman experience. Candidates must possess a current driver’s license and are required to pass written pre-employment tests, drug screen and physical, including color vision test. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, 401-K plan and employee share investment plan. Salary and benefits are defined in the collective agreement. This position requires union membership after probationary period.
