In
a ceremony at the Mississippi State Capitol in Jackson on
March 31, BMWE President Mac A. Fleming was commended by
resolution (No. 21) for his years of dedicated service as
President of the BMWE. It is the policy of the
Mississippi Legislature "to commend excellence in
leadership, especially when it is exhibited by one of its
native sons on a national level." Fleming was born
and raised in Mississippi, leaving for Colorado in 1968
when he went to work for the Santa Fe Railway. Attending
the ceremony with Fleming were his wife Phyllis, David
Marquar (BMWE Legislative Director), Ben Crowe (BMWE
Asistant Legislative Director), Lawrence Triche (BMWE ICG
Vice Chairman) and other family members and friends. |
