For Christmas Cards, Think Union Made
Don't overlook union made as you buy your Christmas-New Year holiday cards.

In retail stores, look for "Plus Mark" brand cards (plus gift wrap, ribbons and bows). They are designed and printed by members of UNITE Local 2408.

Also look for Walt-Peterson/American Greetings cards, made by members of Paperworkers (UPIU) Local 298, Sangamon cards, made by members of UPIU Local 637, Warner Press cards, made by members of UPIU Local 1195, and Cleo cards (and Christmas wrap) made by members of UPIU Local 1766.

In addition, there are at least three sources for union-label cards available by mail order to both individuals and organization:

Brown & Bigelow, of St. Paul: Homestead Cards, Inc. of Salem, Ore.; and the Association of Handicapped Artists, Inc., of Depew, N.Y.

More information about each of the mail-order firm's cards can be obtained by contacting them during 9 a.m.-5 p.m. business hours Mondays-Fridays as follows:
