| The BMWE is seeking applicants to fill the position of
Political Director in the Washington, DC office. The person filling this position, working
closely with the Director of Strategic Coordination and Research, will be responsible for
lobbying activities related to federal legislation affecting our members and relations
with various federal agencies in connection with matters of interest to the BMWE. This
person will also direct the State Legislative Directors' activities and be responsible for
the administration of the BMWE's Legislative Department. The ideal applicant should have strong written and verbal communications skills and have a good working knowledge of the legislative process.
