BMWED members should know that changes to our National Division Bylaws can be proposed and voted on at the National Division Convention.

• Bylaws amendments may be adopted by a majority vote of the delegates present, provided the proposed amendment is submitted to the Bylaws Committee in time for publication in the official BMWED trade journal, with the final notice published at least 30 days before Convention.  In order to be published in the Journal 30 days before the convention, the proposed bylaw must be received by the National Division no later than May 6, 2026.  Proposed Bylaws amendments may be submitted to the Bylaws Committee by sending them to the following email address: [email protected].  Bylaws proposals can also be mailed into National Division at:

• Proposed Amendments not received by the Bylaws Committee in time to be published in the BMWED Journal can still be considered if submitted to the Bylaws Committee, but will require supermajority approval of three-fourths (3/4) of the delegates present.
