UBS post-meeting report noted the unions outlined concerns UP must address to secure their support. UBS specifically observed that BLET/BMWED's demand to protect positions is a stronger ask than the SMART-TD agreement, which only protects against involuntary furloughs, not attrition-based workforce reduction.
